ProduceU Weekend in LA
Some of you are aware I’m taking part in a year long business coaching program called, Produce U and got to spend an intensive weekend in LA recently learning ins and outs of branding, media training and marketing. It was great fun & lots of learning with 20 other game changers and our fearless leaders, Rick Tamlyn and Chuck Lioi as well as the famous guests they brought in to help train us. One theme that came through for my work loud and clear is that “Our Capacity for Being Calm, Compassionate and Confident is Increased When We Practice Self-Love.” So I’m focusing on that for now. How will you practice self-love?
HUG Kits Coming!
One of the wonderful outcomes (so far) of ProduceU are the HUG Kits – which will provide Hope Understanding & Guidance for family caregivers based on concepts clients have shared with me over the past 15 years that they’ve needed to implement. As a subscriber to my newsletter, you can see a sneak peek at the outline here in this article.
The HUG Kits will have:

Anna Westin Act Announcement from the EDC – And another Anna Westin Act win for the books! Today the FY19 bipartisan funding bill was signed into law, integrating eating disorders trainings for health professionals from the Anna Westin Act into the $49 million dollar HRSA Primary Care Training & Enhancement grant program!
Thank you again to all of our champions who led this across the finish line including Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Senator Amy Klobuchar(D-MN), Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL), Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-ME), and Congressman Mark Pocan (D-WI)!

National Caregiving Conference
Caregivers from around the country will gather in Chicago in November for National Caregiving Conference.
I’m excited to present on shifting caregiver perspectives and will also be moderating a panel on the worst days of caregiving. And will be on a panel about the path to diagnosis. Whew! Hope to see you there!
