Happy New Year!
Well, we made it through this first week of the new year…I hope you are safe and finding the calm you need to cope with the events in our country and world. I’m here and happy to chat if you just need someone to talk with about all this. I know it helps me to talk with those I trust when the world feels unsafe.
Some of you have asked me to let you know about these two trainings coming up. I’ll keep this brief.
First, EFFT – Emotion Focused Family Therapy, the communication tool of validating your loved one is a tool that many of you have heard me sing the praises of. I’m thrilled that Bonnie Brennan, MA, LPC, CEDS has invited me to co-lead her EFFT training next week.

To my clients who want to be able to respond effectively to your child with an eating disorder, this is the validation tool I’m often talking about and asking you to practice. This will give you the much needed practice and deep understanding of the whole process. I’ve only shown you the tip of the iceberg. 🙂
